Tender sweet from garbanzo beans flour

da0e3dc6-1aa0-40e9-9849-3caf20eee7233/4 cups of butter – or coconut oil for vegan option

1 1/2 garbanzo beans flour

2 tbsp chia seeds

2 tbsp crushed nuts – I had walnuts

1/2 cup sugar

Melt butter on a thick bottom pan on a low fire and mix in all the ingredients except sugar. Stir with a wooden spoon. Cook for 5 minutes. Add sugar and keep cooking for 10-15 minutes. Take the batter out into the wooden board and spread to cool down.

Here you have to two options

  • roll it into balls, or
  • roll it with rolling pin into a layer and cut into squares when it is cooled completely
